I took these pictures yesterday because I thought it was so adorable. Jimmy and Brock went to Lowe's to buy a new snow shovel and came back with 2, one was Brock's size. Brock was so excited to shovel with Dad. They worked hard and Brock stared out the window the rest of the day waiting for it to snow again so he could go shovel again.
Molli was chosen as student of the month this last week. They honored her in an assembly with kids chosen from other grades as well. Molli's teacher said that she picked her based on her kindness and her caring for others. We're very proud of her.
I wanted to put some other cute pictures on here that Jimmy took of the kids in front of the tree and visiting with Santa. Suprisingly, the twins were not afraid of Santa this year. They thought we were torturing them last year.
Just thought I would post some pictures of decorating the tree. Most of the ornaments were gathered around a few branches at the bottom. Jimmy and I fixed some of them later, but also let some there because we liked the character it brought. :)
I have to brag and show off pictures of my new niece. She is so beautiful and sweet. Her name is Elliyah Lindsey. She is my brother Jeremy and his wife, Jessica's first baby. She was born on Nov. 12 and she weighed 7 lbs. 7 oz. So tiny! I can't wait for my own!
We had a fun trip to Jackson Hole last week. We saw tons of animals including moose, elk, deer, buffalo, bald eagles, golden eagles, and antelope. If you have never seen Jimmy spot an animal, you're missing out. It's a personal triumph for him and makes his whole day. You wouldn't believe the countless animal pictures we have taken. I'll spare you and only put my two favorites on here. The first is a moose we saw grazing towards the bottom of a mountain and the other was 2 Bald Eagles sitting in a nest together. That was pretty cool. Our family loves Jackson Hole. This is our second year in a row going here and we hope to make it an annual tradition!
We chopped, well Great Clips actually, chopped off Molli's hair about a week ago and I had to show off how adorable she looks with her new do. She was very excited to have bangs and it's sad and fun to see how grown up she is getting.
We've just returned from sunny Arizona where we had a delightful time basking in the sunlight and squishing our family of 6 into one hotel room. It wasn't the most relaxing trip, however, we all had lots of fun. Molli enjoyed a chocolate shake while taking a dip in the hot tub and Jimmy and I juggled 4 kids who can't swim in the swimming pool. (I must mention that Molli thinks she can swim and nearly drowned on several occasions. Luckily, my high school lifesaving skills came back to me and she was rescued.) Here are a few pics of the trip. Oh! I must mention that this is the first road trip in a very long time where Jimmy has NOT received a speeding ticket. Way to go babe!
